Perisclaw Browser Mode: Let Your WhatsApp AI Assistant Use the Web for You
Perisclaw, your WhatsApp AI assistant, can now use a web browser for you. Message your assistant a chore like "compare direct flights from Delhi to Singapore next Friday," and it opens its own browser, works through the sites, and sends the answer back to your chat.
The browser runs in a private window that belongs to your account, so you can watch it work and take over whenever you want.
What Browser Mode Can Do
Think of it as an assistant with its own laptop. It reads pages, clicks, types, scrolls, and switches tabs, then reports back in WhatsApp.
Send it research, price checks, portal lookups, or a form to fill in. It asks you before it submits anything.
How Browser Mode Works
Send the task. Describe the job in plain words.
Watch if you like. Open the live view at app.perisclaw.com/browser to see the browser work. The view is watch-only while the assistant has control.
Get the result. Perisclaw sends a short summary to your chat when it finishes.
Your sign-ins stay put. The browser keeps its profile between tasks. It closes after 15 minutes of inactivity and picks up your saved sessions the next time it opens.
Log in Safely With Browser Vault
Perisclaw never sees your passwords. Add a login in Settings, then Browser Vault. The password is stored encrypted in your own container, and the assistant sees only the site name and an alias.
When a task needs a sign-in, Perisclaw fills the fields directly from the vault, and only on the exact site you saved. Remove a login any time and Perisclaw clears that site's cookies too.

You Stay in Control
✅ It asks before anything that counts. Before it submits a form or makes a purchase, the assistant checks with you and goes ahead only on your reply.
✅ It hands over when a human is needed. If a site shows a CAPTCHA, an MFA prompt, or a passkey, Perisclaw pauses and sends you the live view link. You finish the step, and Perisclaw picks up where it stopped.
Example: You ask for the status of an order on a supplier portal. The portal sends a one-time code to your phone. The assistant pauses, you type the code in the live view, hand control back, and the status lands in your chat.
✅ Your data stays yours. Each session runs in its own sealed container, so your browsing never mixes with anyone else's and none of it goes to a third-party browser service. Perisclaw encrypts your data with keys unique to you and opts out of model training on customer data. The setup is GDPR compliant and ISO/IEC 27001 certified.

Browser mode works well next to Gmail on Perisclaw. Ask the assistant to find the booking confirmation in your inbox, then check the booking status on the airline's site.

Downloads and uploads. File downloads and uploads are turned off.
One task at a time. The assistant has one browser, so a second task waits until the first one finishes. Each task can run up to 15 minutes.
Typed passwords. Sign-ins go through Browser Vault.
